Product Description

Quality characteristics: Selection and grading should be done immediately after harvest. Chilies used for storage must be
healthy, clean, hard, well developed, free from surface water vapor, free from head damage, and free from frost damage
(cold wilt) and sunburn..




Temperature: The standard for assessing chili exports to China in terms of recommended storage temperature is that for other chili varieties, green peppers should be stored at 7oC to 8oC and red peppers should be stored at temperatures between 7oC and 8oC. temperature from 4oC to 6oC
Relative humidity: Relative humidity is the most important factor for maintaining fruit firmness. In the place of storage, the relative humidity of the air should be between 90% and 95%. If the humidity of the air falls below 90%, the firmness of the fruit can be preserved by covering the packaging with polyethylene sheet and removing the cover every 1 to 2 hours to allow air circulation.






Air circulation: The air circulation system used in the storage place must ensure stable temperature and uniform relative humidity.
Activities during and at the end of storage: Chili is prone to rot, so it is necessary to check the quality of the fruit every 2-3 days and the fruits show signs of reduced firmness or damage due to pests or insects. must be removed immediately.
