Salted duck eggs (or salt duck seed; Chinese: 鹹蛋, xiándàn; Cantonese: 鹹蛋, haam4 daan2, Bahasa Indonesia: Telur asin; Bahasa Malaysia: Telur masin, Tagalog: itlog na maalat, Thai: khai) ice cream) is a Chinese way of managing and dieting eggs by soaking duck eggs in water, one by one in a secure packaging process. In supermarkets in Asia, eggs are repeated in a layer rather than paste. The resulting eggs can also be wrapped in a plastic bag containing the salt inside and vacuum-packed. In fact, salted duck eggs can also be made from chicken eggs although the flavor and texture will have different portions, and the egg yolks will be less rich.
