A homage to this Algarve indigenous variety, that found in this terroir its most iconic expression. Villa Alvor Negra-mole is a homage to the pinot-noir-like variety that grows in Algarve. Elegant, textured and incredibly complex.
Only the best grapes of Negra-Mole are selected for this wine. The grapes are macerated for 4 days and then undergo the process of manual pumping over for 10 days. The must ferments without any mechanical movement of the lees to preserve the more delicate primary aromas. The smooth texture of the wine and the perfect integration of aromas are the result of 8 months aging in French-Oak barrels, followed by 4 months of aging in bottle.
