Ordinary olive oils are usually a blend from different regions and the tastes are usually more bitter and acidic. Our product, “EX Olive Oil Mountain Oliva”, is made only by cold pressing the olives only from Lakonia in Greece. Olives are simply compressed (the process of cold press) in the temperatures below 27℃ to make it into the oil - you will be able to taste the olives, just like you are tasting a fresh squeezed juice. Use of this olive oil is numerous - from cooking pasta, sautéing vegetables, making salad dressing, for simply putting on bread, to sprinkling on tofu or sashimi – you will taste and enjoy the true flavor of the olives!
Acidity in olive oils vary depending on the harvest years; however, it is usually the average of 0.2%~0.3%.
