Kami-kami Kombu
This kombu snack is made from flavored wild-grown makombu from Hokkaido without any artificial additives. The flavor makes the most of kombu’s savoriness, and it becomes more irresistible the more you chew. The flavoring adds shiitake mushroom broth, honey, and plum wine vinegar to the kombu itself, for a simple, natural flavor that never gets old. This item is perfect as a snack for small children to build up chewing strength. It is used at snack time in many nursery schools and preschools. It is also dry, so it does not get your hands dirty.
No artificial additives: To make the most of the natural savoriness of kombu, we use no man-made savory additives. We researched a production process to retain as much of the savoriness as possible, and added Japanese shiitake mushroom broth as a hidden flavor to boost the savoriness. To lightly flavor it with sweetness and acidity to improve the taste, we use honey and plum wine vinegar.
Sun-dried: It is dried in a sun-drying chamber on the roof of our building. Drying it gradually under plenty of sunshine brings out the savoriness to the fullest.
