The Microwave Therapeutic System is an electricity (AC-powered) device intended to generate microwave energy for localized non-vascular soft-tissue ablation, typically to treat tumors and/or hydatid cysts. The device connects via a delivery cable to the Disposable Microwave Therapeutic Antennas for delivery of microwaves to the target tissues. It is intended to be used in percutaneous, laparoscopic, or open surgery procedures to ablate tissue typically in the liver, lung, kidney, thyroid, uterine, breast and bone.

Microwave therapeutic system produce heat by using polar molecules of tissue (mainly for the water molecules) with microwave frequency high-speed rotation and mutual friction. It features instantaneous coagulation from inner to outside, low temperature, clear edge of damage area, uniform heat area, and excellent haemostatic effect.
