ZLAN5843A is a new generation of 8-port serial to ethernet developed by Shanghai ZLAN Information Technology Co., LTD. It can realize 8-channel serial port data transfer to TCP/IP and support two 10M /100M Ethernet ports. Compared with ZLAN5800A, ZLAN5843A supports Modbus gateway function of Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU. The Modbus gateway supports simultaneous reading of data from multiple Modbus clients, which is the "multi-host" function.
ZLAN5843A support extending to 16/24/32 ports through cascade Ethernet port, maximum to 64 serial ports.

2.1 Hardware characteristics
1) All the eight serial ports support RS232, RS485 serial ports.
2) The eight serial ports can work independently in full duplex without interference, and can be configured with different baud rates.
3) Support network switch function of 2 network ports, can be used as switch at the same time.
4) Abundant indicator light, each serial port has a separate TCP connection indicator light and data activity indicator light.
