Classification by processing method:

According to the processing method, it is divided into raw coke and cooked coke. Because of the volatile content and moisture and other impurities is high, for some special application, such as graphite electrode or carbon additive, it need low impurities and volatile content, so produced the cooked coke, it can also be called calcined petroleum coke, putting the raw coke or green coke under the temperature of 1300℃, then reduce the hydrogen content of petroleum coke re-products and increase the graphitization of petroleum coke.

Application for Petroleum Coke Carbon:

1.As dense coke for casting process.
2.Be used to produce the graphite electrode.
3.Be used in the production of industry silicon.
4.As carbon additive for steel making or casting.
5.Industrial fuel for power generation and cement production.
6.Be used in production of calcium carbide as the main material.
7.Be used in the electrolytic aluminum as prebaked anode and anode paste.
8.Be used in production of silicon carbide and boron carbide as abrasive materials.
9.As coke for blast furnaces in the metallurgical industry or blast furnace wall lining carbon brick.
