  Select Paper Materials  

There are mainly 3 paper/board materials for box packaging, corrugated board which is used for making shipping boxes, mailer boxes, display stand boxes and some product packaging. Gift boxes are most made of rigid chipboard/gray board, which is hard and not easy bend, can make good shaped nice gift box with a printed artwork coated outside. Virgin paperboard is soft and thin white ivory paper board, usually used for printing small retailing boxes, medicine boxes packaging, paper bags, borchure and business card etc, have beautiful printing result like art paper.

  Choose Printing Methods  

We offer flexo printing and offset printing two methods for choice. Offset printing is one of the most common ways fo creating printing items. The most regular applications include magazines, brochures, stationery, and box packaging printing. Comparing to other printing methods, offset printing is best-suited way of economically producing for big volumes of high-quality prints in a sense that requires little maintenance. Flexo printing is a cheap and economical printing process, which color is not that exquisite than offset printing, always be applied on brown/white kraft corrugated fiberboard for mailing/shipping carton boxes.

    Choose Print Finishing  

After printing, it should apply oil or film on the surface of paper to protect the printing. There are glossy and matte two options, can be glossy/matte film lamination or glossy/matte oil varnish. Some special surface treatment like spot UV, foil stamping and embossing/debossing can be applied to the printed packaging to make it more luxury looking.

   Select Rigid Box Styles   

For rigid chipboard gift boxes, there are various box styles/format, the most common used are below eight box styles. Slide drawer style box, lift off lid box(with for without neck inside), flip/flap top box(with hinged flip or no flap book style), and collapsible box also known as foldable rigid gift box which is flat shipped before set up, is a shipping cost saving gift box solution. The can be designed with PVC product packaging. Also there's other box styles not listed can be produced.

You can choose different insert options for your packaging. Paper inserts including vigin paper and corrugated paperboard. Foam inserts including EVA foam, EPE foam and XPE foam ect, with different features and prices. And plastic blister insert. All of them can be made in various colors.

Mockup is to add your artworks on blank mock-up template, to see how it works on the packaging. Product Mock-up service enables you to display your products on your own website, manual, and magazine. Especially before your products go to market, it’s important to know whether your target customers like the appearance of your products.

  Note: It takes more handling procedures than express shipping, such as customs clearance, pick up cargos, you need a customs broker agent help you to handle such matters. 3. Air Tranport (Airport to Airport)

1. Do you have a minimum order quantity?

  For custom packaging product, we do have set an MOQ of 500 units or 1000 units, you can see the MOQ number set in this product details above, if not sure please advise our sales in advance. We set the MOQ because there's fixed factory fees for custom packaging production, when these cost add to product unit price it will be extremely high, such as only order 100pcs, 200pcs.

  What are the Fixed Factory Fees? For a custom printed paper box, the cutting die fees, CTP fees, machine setup fees are all fixed no matter your order quantity is 100pcs or 1000pcs. Such fees will cost us around 100-300USD based on your box specifications. The important factor includes the box size (big or small), color printing (single color, or CMYK full color, or with PMS colors, or with Metallic PMS colors), die-cut complexity (a simple die-cut or complex die-cut), finish (spot UV, foil stamping, embossing, debossing, laminating and varnishing etc).

  As you can see, at least around 400USD will be introduced no matter your order quantity is small or big. And this is why the unit price is extremely high when your order quantity is just too small like 100pcs, 200pcs. In this case we have to set a MOQ to give a better price to you.

  
  

2. How long Time for my order production?

  It always takes 2 weeks Max for order quantity less than 10,000 pieces. For bigger quantity or the product need too much man-made process and has very complex specifications, it will be longer. For rush order we can also expedite the process and try best to meet your timeline. You can advise our sales before ordering.
  

  
  

3. Can I order a custom Sample before place bulk order?

  Yes, we can make a printed or plain sample with your size etc specifications for approve before  bulk order. Sample time for printed sample is 3-7 days for different products, and plain sample could be couple of days faster. Custom sample cost about $50~100 USD for most box products in different specifications.
  

  
  

4. Could you estimate the DDU price (price with delivery cost) for my order?
