Thermal insulation mortar is a new type of external wall thermal insulation material, which has the advantages of light weight, excellent thermal insulation and sound insulation performance, no cracks on the plastered surface, low construction labor intensity, and lower price than other external wall thermal insulation materials.
Insulation mortar construction preparation and process
The standard layer construction is based on the layer.First grinding, netting, then plastering are from top to bottom. The normal temperature construction time needs to be more than 12 hours.
The steps are as follows
1. The surface of the base layer should be free of dust, oil, and debris that affects the bonding performance.
2. In hot weather or when the base layer is dry, it can be moistened with water when the base layer has a large amount of water absorption, so that the base layer is wet inside and dry outside, with no clear water on the surface.
3. Stir the special interface agent for thermal insulation system according to the water-cement ratio of 1:4, scrape it on the base layer, and draw it into a zigzag shape with a thickness of about 3mm, or spraying method is also possible.
4. Stir the inorganic thermal insulation mortar according to the water-cement ratio 1:1 to form a slurry, which should be stirred evenly without powder clusters.
5. Put the thermal insulation mortar into powder according to the energy-saving requirements. If it is more than 2cm, it needs to be applied in stages. The interval between two plastering times should be more than 24 hours. Spraying is also possible.
6. Spread the anti-cracking mortar on the insulation mortar with a thickness of 2MM.
7. Hang alkali-resistant mesh cloth on the surface of the crack-resistant mortar.
8. Afterwards, apply a 2~3mm anti-cracking mortar on the alkali-resistant grid cloth again.
9. After the construction of the protective layer is completed, the subsequent finishing layer construction can be carried out after curing for 2-3 days (depending on the temperature).
