Transformer Ratio Tester Transformers are one of the most important tools of the system in the transmission and distribution ofelectrical energy. In order for the transformers to work smoothly and in the best efficiency, the necessary tests should be performed and the accuracy of the values should be checked. They are subjected to a series of tests to check that the transformers operate at nominal and standard values specified in thelabel values. It is tested with the devices known as TTR (Transformer Turn Ratio) Device for testing the transformer ratio of transformers. In theory, an input voltage of an ideal transformer whose value is known to determine the conversion ratio is applied to one ofthe windings. By measuring the output voltage, the ratio of the input and output voltage values is calculated and the winding ratio is determined.
