LivestockPal  Brucella Ab

Rapid Test for the presence of  Brucella Ab in honey




PRINCIPLE

The LivestockPal Brucella Ab is based on the gold immuno-chromatography assay, which can be used for rapid screening of brucella Ab in bovine serum/milk and sheep serum/milk.

TEST PROCEDURE

3.1 Blood Sample

3.1.1 Sample preparation
Collect 0.5-1ml of blood sample, centrifuge for separation: 3000rmp / 5min / ambient temperature. Or keep the sample still overnight at 4℃ to separate(keep the sample in freeze if it can NOT be tested within 24h, rewarm the sample before the next assay).
3.1.2 Assay operation
 Bring the test kit and all samples to room temperature before assay.
 Put the test card horizontally on the table, pipette 5µl of serum into the “S” orifice(the black mark on the pipette is the 5µl mark), the drop 1 drop of sample buffer into the “S” orifice.
 Wait for 5min.
 Drop 2 more drops sample buffer.
 Wait for 10min at the ambient temperature, judge the result within 15min.

3.2 Milk Sample

 Take the fresh raw milk.
 Put the test card horizontally on the table, pipette 20µl of milk sample into the “S” orifice.
 Wait for 5min.
 Drop 3 drops of the sample buffer into the “S” orifice.
 Wait for 10-15min at the ambient temperature, judge the result within 15min.



RESULTS INTERPRETATION

Visual Interpretation

The cassettes are embodied with 2 lines, Control line, Test Line, and which are briefly expressed as “C” and “T”. The test results will be determined by the color presence of the lines. The following diagram describes the result identification.

NEGATIVE: TWO lines appear, which indicates the sample contains no brucella Ab (Please do further confirmation with other method if the livestock shows the corresponding clinical symptom )
POSITIVE: ONLY Control(“C”) Line appears, which indicates the sample contains brucella Ab.
INVALID: NO line appears or just Test(“T”) line appears.






STORAGE

2-30℃ in cool dark place, do not freeze. The kit will be valid in 24months. The lot number and expired date are printed on the package.



PRECAUTIONS

 Do the assay following the instruction, do NOT touch the membrane of the cassette.
 Do NOT used the solutions provided from different batch in one assay.
 The cassette is used for only once; Do NOT use it repeatedly.
 The positive result should be further confirmed.
The test sample may be infectious, please do the assay with care.
This test card is the rapid diagnostic instrument, please confirm with the clinical symptoms and other diagnostic instruments when you find the suspicious positive sample.
