CHICHODO BRUSH is NOT made by machine ,but 100% hand made by skilled aritisan workers who has well trained in brush industry.
It takes at least 30 working steps to create one CHICHODO brush
LET’S get some insight information why the manufacturing process is such an artwork.
THE MAKING OF OUR BRUSHES
BRISTLES /BRUSH HEAD:The bristles are made from one or two material :Natural animal hair or synthetic fibers. Natural hair brushes are great for applying things like powder , eye shadow, because they pick up a lot of dry pigment. While,Synthetic hair is made of taklon, recognizable by their soft hair . We use it with liquid based products like foundation or cream eyeshadow. For a luxurious of application, we also use only the finest goat hair mixed with synthetic taklon for our makeup brushes.
THE FERRULE
The ferrule is the metal piece on your brush that holds the bristles together. It’s typically made of aluminum or brass.
While the ferrules are measured and cut, each hair is hand-selected, shaped and trimmed manually by a brush artist. Afterwards the shaped hair is interposed into the polished ferrule. The resistant brass ferrule and fine natural and synthetic hair result in a symphony of elegance and expertise.
THE HANDLE
Handles can be made of wood, metal, plastic, or alternative materials such as corn resin or bamboo, depending on the type of look you want to create. The seven times coated handle receives a hot stamping with customer logo and the name of the brush on the end.
In the last step the brush handle and the polished ferrule are fixed tightly thanks to an innovative crimping process.
Once the handles are made, the brush head goes through by sticky paper to pull off any last stray hairs. After that, the artist gives the brush its final shaping, hair trimming.
INSPECTION
After that assembly, the brush is polished and cleaned, and then goes through one more quality control inspection.
