Product Description
This 3" sanitary butterfly valve has a squeeze-trigger lock on it and can be locked in 13 different positions. The handle is simply squeezed to rotate the valve gate and can be rotated 180 degrees so it can be closed on either side.
Butterfly valves can be cleaned in place as there are no pockets for dirt to hide. They are also lighter and more compact than tri-clover compatible ball valves.
We recommend butterfly valves at vessel outlets and on fermenters, but use ball valve on pump outlets.

Available with your choice of end connection (Tri-Clamp or weld), seat material (black epdm, red silicone, or brown FKM), and handle style (pull, infinite, or trigger), or actuator (fail close, fail open, or double acting). All valves are 100% hydraulic tested and 100% inspected prior to shipment! Rated for 0.4 inHg of vacuum at 68°F and operation at temperatures from 15°F to 200°F.
