What is Daiwa Genki?
“Daiwa Genki” is a important immune modulator for cats and dogs made of rice bran modified with a small quantity of enzymes from shiitake mushrooms. A large number of human clinical studies show that BioBran triples Natural Killer cell activity, increases the number of T and B cells, enhances the activity of macrophages and neutrophils, and more. It has proven to be safe with no toxicity.

The Effect of BioBran on NK Cell Activity in Dogs
The effect of BioBran on NK (natural killer, a type of “scavenger” white blood cell) cell activity of dogs was evaluated by an in vitro study. BioBran was dissolved in PBS at different concentrations (25, 50, 100 µg/ml), and added to fresh peripheral blood lymphocytes for 16 hours; then NK activity was measured. BioBran treatment enhanced NK cell activity at all concentrations used (Figure 1). These results show that BioBran also exhibits enhanced NK cell activity in dogs.

IMPRESSIVE STUDY RESULTS!
An in-house study jointly performed with one of the top universities in Japan, showed a complete response rate (CR) that is higher in the RBAC group (n=8) than in a placebo group (n=6) from the 1st through the 4th week. The assessment of the complete response rate was carried out in accordance with RECIST guidelines.
