Application of 4-Methylpropiophenone


Photoinitiator 2959 is a highly efficient UV initiator which does not yellowing. It is used to initiate the UV polymerization of unsaturated prepolymer system, especially suitable for acrylate and unsaturated polyester resins requiring low odor and water-borne. The active hydroxyl group in the chemical book of photoinitiator 2959 makes it easy to react with unsaturated resin. It is suitable for conventional UV system, because the hydroxyl functional group in its molecule improves the solubility of photoinitiator 2959 in waterborne coating formulation, so it is suitable for Waterborne UV formulation.
