Product Introduction
ESP-WROOM-02 module onboard ESP8266EX RF chip. ESP8266EX has built-in ultra-low power Tensilica L106 32-bit RISC processor with CPU clock speed up to 160 MHz for real-time operating system (RTOS) and integrated Wi-Fi MAC/BB/RF/PA/LNA, supporting standard IEEE802.11 b/g/n protocol, complete TCP/IP protocol stack. Users can use this module to add networking capabilities to existing devices or to build separate network controllers. Up to 80% of processing power can be left to application programming and development. It can be used independently or as a slave to other host MCUs.

* The ESP-WROOM-02 is configured with 4 MB of SPI Flash. The supported SPI modes include: Standard SPI, DIO (Dual I/O), DOUT(Dual Output), QIO (Quad I/O), and QOUT (Quad Output).
* When the ESP8266EX is running in the Station mode, after connecting to the AP, the user can have a SRAM space of up to 50kB in the Heap+ Data area.
