The steps for printing text on waterproof zippers using the screen printing technique are as follows:
1. Prepare materials: waterproof zipper, screen printing ink, silk screen, screen printing squeegee, printing design or text.
2. Prepare the silk screen: choose a silk screen with the appropriate pattern resolution and size, and fix it on the silk screen frame.
3. Create a printing plate: convert the printing design or text into a printing plate, which can be done using computer design software if it is text.
4. Prepare the ink: mix the screen printing ink according to the printing material and desired color. Ensure that the ink is evenly mixed, properly diluted, and matches the printing material.
5. Ink it: use the screen printing squeegee to apply the ink on the printing plate position on the silk screen.
6. Print: place the zipper on a flat working table, align the screen printing silk screen with the printing plate position, and apply the ink onto the zipper with the appropriate pressure and angle.
7. Dry: wait for the ink to dry. A heating device can be used to accelerate the drying process.
