La Vecchia Dispensa (literally "The Old Pantry") is a small scale food company based in Modena.
We are producer of Balsamic Vinegar since four generations, still using only tradizional process of production.
As we are used to say: we produce "black gold". All our balsamic vinegars come from 100% Italian grapes. We do not add caramel or any other additive because we believe in the importance of slow aging in wood.
Our barrels are passed down through generations: a mix of aromatic woods, years of aging and care this is the real secret of our balsamic supreme quality!
