Pecorino is an ancient native vine that has been re-evaluated in recent years, becoming the protagonist of a white wine that stands out for its character, freshness and beautiful aroma
For centuries the "Pecorino" wine, obtained from the homonymous vine, has been used as a blending wine to give more robustness and to improve lighter wines, deriving from more productive grapes, such as Trebbiano grapes.
Its recent rediscovery for the production, in purity, of quality wine has represented a real rebirth and an absolutely perfect choice. The wine that is made from it is, in its own right, one of the Italian excellences, highly appreciated and characteristic.
Brilliant straw yellow colour, structure, minerality, sapidity and clear and clean aromas are the main organoleptic characteristics of this wine. The high sugar and mineral content of the grapes, expression of the land of origin, gives the wine structure, personality, sapidity, persistence and good acidity. All particularly marked and immediately perceptible properties, just as its aromatic kit is clear and perceptible: predominantly herbaceous aromas are joined by marked fruity notes and, in some particular versions, also clear floral notes, unmistakably pleasant and evident at the first sip.
