Sap bark extract is a substance containing saponins extracted from the bark, trunk, or branches of soapberry trees. Saponins are natural surfactants that can produce foam and emulsifying effects. Sap bark extract is mainly used as an emulsifier and foaming agent in food, which can make beverages and dairy products stable and uniform. Sap bark extract also has the effects of cleansing the skin, anti dandruff, and moisturizing.
