Semi gantry crane is composed of bridge, crane running mechanism, trolley running mechanism and hoisting mechanism. This crane is a combination of overhead crane and gantry crane. It is designed with one leg riding on wheels or rails and the other side of the crane riding on a runway system connected to building columns or a side wall of the building structure. This type of crane can be adapted to both indoor and outdoor applications.
