All fruits must be: ⮚ whole; ⮚ healthy (products affected by rotting or alterations such as to make them unfit for consumption are excluded); ⮚ free from damage and / or external alterations due to frost; ⮚ free from the beginning of dryness inside due to frost; ⮚ free from bruises or healed lesions; ⮚ clean (free of visible foreign substances); ⮚ free from damage caused by parasites; ⮚ free from abnormal external moisture; ⮚ free from foreign smell and / or taste; ⮚ with peduncle, if present, less than 10 mm long; ⮚ with the right degree of ripeness expressed by the minimum content of dry matter. Ripe fruit doesn't have to be bitter.
Labeling on
On each box displays the following information by means of adhering label and visible: ⮚ product specification and variety; ⮚ category; ⮚ caliber expressed by the number of pieces in the box; ⮚ origin of the product, intended as production area, region or country of origin; ⮚ address of the supplier (name and address of the company or production plant); ⮚ TMC production batch (where necessary); ⮚ storage temperature (if any).
Cultivation method
⮚ Product deriving from conventional agriculture, in compliance with the provisions of current Italian legislation on pesticides and good agricultural cultivation practices. ⮚ For fruits imported from countries other than Italy, the current Community harmonization rules relating to permitted pesticide residues apply. No integrated pest management or organic farming products are available.

The contents of each package must be uniform and include only pomegranates of the same origin, size, variety, quality and color.

Pomegranates must be conditioned in such a way that adequate protection is guaranteed for the product with packaging free of any foreign body.

⮚ 1st category (good quality). Slight defect in shape, color and very slight lesions of the epidermis, as long as they are healed.
⮚ 2nd category (with minimal qualitative characteristics). Provided they do not affect the general appearance and the conservation, defects in shape and color are allowed.
GMO - Allergens - Latex
The product is GMO-FREE (absence of genetically modified organisms), complies with Dir. CE 2003/89 of 10-11-03 and subsequent updates regarding allergens, also does not contain latex and are not used packaging or any packaging material containing latex.
