Application:


  Model LXDR Centrifugal Disc-style Separator which is mainly used for purifying used oils from ships and overland power stations, mechanical industrial oils and also for regenerating lubricating oils, can speedily separate out moistures and harmful impurities from oil liquids, thus to prolong service life of machines and to assure normal operation.


 


Working Principle:


  Take principles of different sedimentation velocities caused by different densities and mutual insoluble phases (light, heavy, and solids) in centrifugal force field and gravity field to achieve the purpose of layering the light, heavy, and solid phases. It is called gravity separation in gravity field, while centrifugal separation in centrifugal force field.

Separation Space:


 


  There is a set of discs inside the bowl of the disc-style separator, these discs divide the bowl space into many thin layer separating room, thus to greatly shorten the distance of sedimentation, and to improve and enhance the separation results. 


  If any extreme dimension particles between two discs reaches internal surface of each disc, it will be separated out.


  The bowl is the core part of the separator. Separation procedure of feeding materials is accomplished in the bowl. Other parts of the separator are mainly bowl body, bowl cover, disc sets, clamp rings, etc.
