Working principle of water immersion retort machine
The Water Immersion Process is the most widely accepted method of sterilizing product using an overpressure process. The Water Immersion process is similar to a saturated steam process in that the product is totally isolated from any influence of cooling air – the product is totally submerged in water. But, it is different from Saturated Steam in that air can be introduced into the vessel during sterilization. Overpressure is provided by introducing air (or steam) on top of the water. In some instances, air is added to the steam (which then heats the air). The heated air agitates the water as it flows to the surface and serves to pressurize the process load.
1. Inject Water to Hot Water Tank
Inject water to hot water tank to preheat water, get ready for sterilizing the lower pot products.
What temperature to preheat? If your product is hot filling, at round 70-degree C, suggest you heat up around 100degree C.
2.Steam is automatically injected to preheat the water.
The water can be preheated directly by the steam or indirectly by the heater. This means, steam only going in the heat, will not directly heat up the water, this will ensure a complete clean sterilization water, because sometimes, the rusts will come along with the steam pressure.
3. Loading Products and Close the Door, Get Ready to Sterilization.
Loading the baskets or trays one by one, loading can be automatically loading and manually loading.
Close the door.
Choose the corresponding food program to start up the sterilization
3. Sterilization Automatically and Semi-Automatically
Automatically circulating the water to achieve the function of sterilization.
And reach to the required F-value.
Once reach the setting f-value, will automatically or semi-automatically start to cool off the products.
Sterilization Completion
4.Once cooling process is finished, can automatically release the pressure, and open the door to get out the products.
