Good Quality E-glass chopped strand mat(CSM)
Product Information:
Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is a non-woven E-glass or C-glass fiberglass fabric manufactured by spreading continuous filament roving of 50mm in length randomly and uniformly in combination with polyester binder in power form (or other binder in emulsion form).

Characteristic and application:
Chopped Strand Mat is characterized by good combination of resin, easy operation, good wet strength retention, good laminate transparency and low cost. It is suitable for the application by hand lay-up FRP moldings, such as, various sheets and panels, boat hulls, boat tubs, cooling towers, corrosion resistant, vehicles, etc.
Chemically bonded for use with polyester resin, used as a filler layer between woven roving when laminating. Commonly used by itself for a variety of glassing applications where a thick, heavy, durable, coarse finish is required. Whenever possible, use paint roller to apply
resin to mat.
Properties:
1. Good wet-out, Easy to form, easy roll-out and air release.
2. Even, thickness, low fuzz.
3. Good resistance to watering and chemical agents in anti-corrosion applications.
4. Very high tensile strength, suitable for filament winding or continuous laminating.
5. Smooth laminate surface, good laminate transparency.

Packaging & Shipping
Product is manufactured in form of a roll wrap on a paper tube then after packed in a plastic bag and placed in a cardboard carton. Rolls can be loaded in a container directly or on pallets.
Deposited:
Chopped Strand Mat should be stored in dry, cool, clean and rainproof area. Recommended temperature range of storage is between 15-30 and relative humidity between 40%-70%.
