Retro-reflective Performance
The coefficient of retro-reflection (RA in cd/lux/m2) is measured by methods traceable to either of the following retroreflective intensity testing procedures :
ASTM E809-08 and E810-03 (RA)
CIE 54.2:2001 (R’)
The coefficient of retro-reflection exceed the minimum retro-reflectivity requirements in according to EN 471 and ANSI 107 level 2 as table below.
Observation Angle | Entrance Angle | |||
5° | 20° | 30° | 40° | |
0.2° | 330 | 290 | 180 | 65 |
0.33° | 250 | 200 | 170 | 60 |
1.00° | 25 | 15 | 12 | 10 |
1.50° | 10 | 7 | 5 | 4 |
The initial average RA > 500
Coefficient of reflection (RA in cd/lux/m2) measured at +5.0° entrance angle and 0.20° observation angles on new product is over 500

Sewing
To Achieve Better Result When Sewing Your Project With Spandex Fabric, Refer To The Following Tips:
To Avoid Skipped Stitches, Use Ball Point Needle (Golden Colored) 90/14 When Sewing
On Stretch Fabrics.
Use Thread For Knits Or A Stretch Stitch.
First, Baste The Pieces Of Fabric Together, And Then Sew Without Stretching The Fabric.
Place Thin Paper Or Stabilizer Material Under The Fabric And Sew It Together With The Fabric.
When You Have Finished Sewing, Tear Off Any Excess Paper.
Decrease The Pressure Of The Presser Foot. (It Is Applied To Models Equipped With The
Function To Adjust The Presser Foot Pressure)
For The Best Results, Sew In Place Using A Lockstitch And With No More Than 12 Stitches Per Inch (2.54 Cm), And Not Less Than 5/64” (2 Mm) From The Edge Of The Reflective Fabric. Recommend For Applying To Light And Medium Weight Fabrics.
