ZYRH Dishwasher water softener
Hard water is that has high content (in contrast with "soft water"). Hard water is formed when water through deposits of and chalk which are largely made up of calcium and magnesium carbonates.
Water softener uses the cation ion exchange resin to remove calcium and magnesium in water, reduce water hardness, water hardness will be filtered out of the water to form a soft water.
