Slewing rings are one of the most important parts of cranes. The slewing ring provides the crane with its possibility to rotate while lifting loads. Naturally, slew ring has to be in good shape for the crane to fully function.

In order to help identify your slewing ring, we recommend the following:
1. Provide the machine model on which the bearing fits.
2. Provide a quick drawing giving with the following dimensions noted as accurately as possible.
- Inner ring and outer ring diameters - Inner and outer flange diameters and heights
- The height of the inner ring, outer ring and total assembled height
- The PCD of mounting holes in the inner and outer rings. Also note hole size, through or blind and or taped - Gear detail including number of teeth, approx tooth pitch, tooth height and depth + profile if possible

Technology Process
UT check the material of the forging, the status after forging and check whether the forging has the defect of the lamination and the surface crack.
Measuring the size of the forging,calculation the processing allowance and accurate to estimate the cutting times in the turning process.

Rough turning
Rough turning according to the processing drawing.
Rough turning aging
After rough turning of bearing inner and outer ring, using three-point -supporting to keep flat to aging processing(not less than 48 hours) in order to eliminate the inner stress during the rough turning process, and prevent the work piece be heated with deformation.
Medium frequency quenching on the surface of the raceway for slewing bearings,hardness not less than HRC55,the depth of hardening case not less than 4mm, the width of soft zone less than 50mm and mark"S" in relevant.
Program or mark and test accurately in CNC drilling machine according to the technical requirement in the drawing to make sure no dimension difference existed before drilling, installing holes should be combined processed with soft band 180 degree alternates and errors between holes no bigger than 0.5mm.
