1. Handwheels, handles and transmission mechanisms are not allowed to be lifted and collisions are strictly prohibited.
2. Double gate valves should be installed vertically (i.e. the stem is in the vertical position and the handwheel is at the top.)
3. Gate valves with bypass valves should be opened before openign (in order to balance the pressure difference between inlet and outlet and reduce the opening force.)
4. Gate valves with belt drive mechanism shall be installed according to the specifications of the product.
5. Lubricate the valve at least once a month if it is frequently switched on and off.


Product Description


Gate Valve
A gate with opening and closing parts. The movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid. The gate valve can only be fully opened and closed.




Gate Valve Advantage
1. Low fluid resistance. The medium passage inside the valve body is straight, the medium flows in a straight line, and the fluid resistance is small.
2. It is more labor-saving when opening and closing. Because, compared with the globe valve, whether on or off, the direction of gate motion is perpendicular to the direciton of medium flow.
3. High altitude, long openign and closing time. The opening and closing stroke of the gate is large, and the descent is carried out by screw.
4. Water hammer is not easy to occur. The reason is the long closue time.
5. Simple in shape, short in length, good in manufacturing technology and wide in appplication.
6. Compact structure, good rigidity of valve, smooth passage, low fluid resistance, stainless steel and cemented carbide sealing surface, long service life, PTFE packing, reliable sealing, easy and flexible operation.
