Product Description


 Introduce of soft touch coating


The product adopts low-temperature vulcanization technology. It is a two-component coating used as protection and decoration on the surface of silicon rubber products. The coating has the advantages of excellent adhesion(no fading after scraping),no cracking and white after folding, good friction resistance, smooth and fine hand feeling, satin and neat surface appearance, ect.

 Application of   soft touch coating


The coating is mainly applied to general silicone products, such as sound case, silicone seal kits, tubing, baby’s bottle, tableware, ect. It is for preventing chemical pollution, yellowing, aging and dust. It can achieve smooth and fine hand feeling and improve the grade of the silicone products.

Use direction


Post curing the silicone rubber object at 150℃ for 1 to 2 hours and the surface should be cleaned up. Dilute the coating by white gas under ratio of coating content and white gas content of 1:4-6; and add the white gas separately in 3 times according to the principle of less to more quantity of each batch. Then fully mix with 2.0% catalyst CAT-SPL-15.The fully mixed coating is filtered through 200-300 mesh filter clothes, and is then sprayed on the object. Finally the sprayed object is vulcanized after 5 to 10 minutes’ standing in non-dust environment.

Storage   


Sealed and stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place at temperature of -5~37℃,air humidity between 55~85%. And the place should be waterproof, leakage-proof, sun blocked, high temperature prevented and far away from fire source.


Handling precautions


1.       Fully mix after container opened. CAT-SPL-15 should be fully mixed after ink diluting when processing.


2.       Keep good processing environment for spray. Non-dust treatment suggested. The temperature had better at 20℃ to 30℃, and the humidity under 55% to 75% since lower temperature will cause poor leveling and higher humidity will cause coating porosity and potential risk as static dust pollution


3.       The object that will be sprayed had better post curing at 1 to 2 hours under temperature 150℃ to 200℃.Or poor vulcanizing of film will be caused


4.     Vulcanized gradually depending on the vulcanizing result. High temperature and toasting immediately after spray may affect the smoothness and gloss of the surface. The pot life time of mixed ink is 8 hours, but sealed and cold storage can prolong the pot life.
