Thermal pigment is a thermochromic or "heat sensitive" pigment that looses its's color at specific temperature and warmer. You can use thermal pigment to paint over designs and patterns, once the pigment heats it will reveal what is underneath.

Thermochromics change as the temperature changes. As the temperature goes up, the pigment becomes colorless, revealing the base coat or graphics underneath. The helmet shown was a white base with a black temperature sensitive paint sprayed over it.
Mix these pigments with our pearls for a subtle and more protected paint job.
