Description:
Main performance characteristics of NKT6100-B laser particle size analyzer:
★ Advanced optical path design: NKT6100-B adopts convergent Fourier transform test technology to ensure maximum range in the shortest focal length, effectively improving the resolution of the instrument; The unique high-density detection unit enables 6100-B to have super-strong small particle testing capability. The high-density detection unit uses NKT6100-B to have super-strong full-scale seamless testing capability.
★ Double optical path design: double optical path design is adopted for the measurement of 0.01 micron, the measurement range is 0.01 micron to 2000 micron, and blue 405 nanometer laser is adopted for the auxiliary laser. (Optional)
★ One-button switch between dry and wet: the switch between dry and wet will be completed automatically by the instrument, and the whole process will be completed within 10s.
★ Automatic Z-direction movement of the main detector: after the dry-wet switching, the optical glass intervention will cause the focal length of the converging light to change. NKT6100-B will automatically adjust the main detector according to the different dry and wet methods so that the main detector is always on the focal plane.
★ Large-aperture lens: large-aperture Fourier transform lens, more effective to realize Fourier transform of optical signals, more accurate and more effective.
★ Anti-dry-burning ultrasound: NKT6100B realizes water-free protection of the sample cell to avoid damaging ultrasound; Meanwhile, the ultrasonic power can be adjusted in the range of 0 to 100 watts.
★ dustproof and shockproof design: the whole instrument is designed in a sealed way, which greatly improves the service life of internal components. The unique suspension structure can effectively avoid the interference of external vibration on the instrument, making the result test more stable and reliable.
★ Strong anti-corrosion design (optional): Acid, alkali, oil (including all solvent oils) and organic solvents (such as acetone, phenol, n-hexane and other organic solvents) can be provided according to the actual needs of customers.
★ Fog Warning: The instrument has the functions of temperature measurement, humidity measurement and water temperature measurement inside the instrument. Purchase laser particle size analyzer need know points:
1) What materials need test?
If suspension/emulsion, must choose liquid dispersion particle size analyzer, and some materials are also reacted with water, so need liquid dispersion particle size analyzer also.
Generally, cement, metal powders and pharamcy materials need dry dispersion model particle size analzyer.
2) What size range need test?
By now, Based on MIE scattering, laser particle size analyzer can test the particle range is 0.01um-2000um.
If materials range is not so wide, for example, 10um-20um, smaller range of particle size distributon choose closer range model will be preciser, no need to buy large range model.
3) What is dispersion media?
For liquid model, in order that sample can disperse well and circualte in the laser particle size analyzer, generally we need use water, alochol or organic solvent as dispersion media.
For dry dispersion model, just use compressed air as dispersion media.
In the current market, Dry laser particle size analyzer cost is higher than liquid dispersion models, so if can test well, liquid model is better.
