1.  We can pack the thin skirting board by 25 or 50 metrs roll, when you apply it, there's less know during the installation 

2. For those quite thick skirting board / wall base, it will easy to deform and it's very heavy if it is too long. 

    8" length is the perfect length and 10-20 pcs into a carton, then put all cartons on pallets to make sure they are safe whatever on the sea or in the air
