Negative Pressure Irrigation is an effective endodontic irrigation system. Instead of applying positive pressure, we uses suction to pull irrigant down the root canal, and then up and away into the Hi-Vac suction unit. It is called  “negative apical pressure,” .Endodontic irrigation involved filling a syringe with sodium hypochlorite, carefully putting it into the canal and then cautiously injecting with positive pressure. There are accounts of hypochlorite accidents occurring that can cause severe tissue damage.

3.1 All re-usable components must be cleaned and sterilized prior to each use.

3.2 Failure to properly clean the components could lead to inadequate sterilization.

3.3 Only use cleaning solutions tested for efficacy and compatibility with the device /

equipment being used.

3.4 Always observe all applicable legal and hygiene regulations for practice and / or

hospital.

3.5 Always wear protective gloves, glasses and a mask when handling contaminated

instruments.

3.6 Cold liquid disinfection/sterilization, chemical vapor sterilization, and dry heat

sterilization methods have not been tested or validated for efficacy and are not

recommended for use.

3.7 Following use, components should be reprocessed as soon as is reasonably

practical.

3.8 Components that may be processed for re-use include the Aluminum Handpiece,

Aluminum Finger-Piece, Aluminum Multi-Port Adapter and the Master Delivery Tip.

3.9 Remove excess soil by wiping components with a disposable wipe and/or

running under tepid (potable) water, checking for signs of visible contamination.

Dry thoroughly with a disposable wipe.
