Tips for Quilting with Cotton:
1. Prewash
Pre-wash fabric to reduce shrinkage and prevent color bleeding.
2. Measure
Matching up quilt blocks requires an accurate ¼” seam. Use a special sewing foot or the markings on the needle plate to ensure
your project is a success!
3. Trim
Trimming each piece of fabric once sewn makes creating a quilt easier.
4. Press
Make sure to use an iron! Press seams either to the side or down the middle. Ironing is essential for perfect points and matching corners.
