coal tar pitch is the residue  from coal tar oil that is separated by distillation extraction of light oil, carbolic oil, phenol oil, naphthalene, anthracene. Using a tube furnace continuous distillation, it is black solid under normal temperature. It is no fixed melting point, and Heat softening and melting, density is .25~1.35g/cm3, it is a kind of Heterocyclic compound contains oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur elements, etc.  

 

 Application:

 Mainly used in super high power electrode, the quality pre-baked anode and carbon block, and the high density and high strength graphite, etc.
