    The GSM Modem sim bank is actually a kind of equipment used in conjunction with sms modem . It has 128  card slots and 256 card  slots . It needs a mobile phone SIM card to support just the same as we use cellphone. In the need to send Bulk SMS, put sim card into the device, link power and connect a pc through the USB cable. Then we can realize the function of the sending and receiving SMS by using the relevant computer management softwarewe.

 

Sms modem work with the modem pool, you need to insert a bulk sim card into the sim card Slot.
There are two sim bank models as shown below. support  SIM cards(big or small )

Model A: SIM256 sim bank which can insert 256 large sim cards( big or small)
Model B: SIM128 sim bank which can insert 128 small sim cards (big or small)

 

SIM256 sim bank has 8 channels, each channel can be inserted 32 Big SIM cards
SIM128 sim bank has 8 channels, each channel can be inserted into 16 small SIM cards.

 

Each channel works with one port of the modem pool.
8 port modem pool can work with 1 sim bank, 16 port modem pool can work with 2 sim banks.

How to change the module imei
1. Use putty to login the module
2. Input the at command ATE1 to echo display
3. //WRITE:AT+EGMR=1, 7, "359231033480797" this at command will change the module imei to
359231033480797, and pls notice that you have to use the correct imei number if not the imei will be
changed back to factory after reboot.

3. How to make a call
1. Login the module and plugin the earphone in the module.
2. Input the at command ATE1 to echo display
3. Use at command ATD to make a call. Such as you want to dial 10086 then you need fill at command
ATD10086; then you can hear the ring from the earphone. You can use at command ATH to handup a call
