Calzificio Pinelli S.r.l. was founded in 1976.
From 1981 to 1990 stockings and tights were produced for some of the most important Italian and international designers and luxury brands.
In 1997 Enzo Pinelli created the SOLIDEA brand, with which he began to patent and manufacture high-tech products such as the shorts with micromassage waves.
In 2001 SOLIDEA started selling in Europe and worldwide and now are represented in 70 countries.
In 2003 the main building was built: 1,300 sq. m. for offices and 10,000 sq. m. for production and warehouse.
In 2003 SOLIDEA obtained the ISO 9001 certification.
In 2004 an innovative robot system (Charlie and Spirit) for the
automatic order processing started operating.
In 2015 SOLIDEA obtained the ISO 13485 certification.
In 2016 a third robot (Opportunity) started operating.
In 2018 a fourth robot (Curiosity) started operating.
On June 23rd, 2020 three new robots were installed in the packaging dept. So now there are 7 robots along with the 3 AGVs in total.
