Cenosphere, sometimes called microsphere, is a light weight, inert, 

 

hollow sphere made largely of silica and alumina and filled with air or inert gas., 

 

With tiny particle, hollow, high strength, abrasion resistance, heat resistance.

 

The color varies from gray to almost white and their density is about 0.6–0.9 g/cm³, 

 

Cenospheres is one kind of light weight material with more function for petroleum field.

 

 

Application:

 

Widely application for insulation,refractory,oil drilling,coating,construction use.

 

typically produced as a byproduct of coalcombustion at thermal power plants.

 

Cenospheres is widely used in oil drilling cementing. It is widely used in the field of oil well cementing.

 

Cenosphere is also used in thermal insulation coatings, metallurgy, machinery, plastics, ceramics, refractories, building materials, chemicals, electric furnace, etc.
